If you bring in your work we will give you a free quote on your
new design. We can give you an estimate over the phone but with
a very large ballpark. There are so many variables with glass,
mats, and mounting that it is a rough guess until we actually
see your art. Custom framing is expensive, but is only pennies
per look over time and will last longer than your furniture. The
key word is CUSTOM for you.
What's
the best way to get ideas and prices for some framing projects?
The best way to get ideas is to bring the art or memorabilia in
and we can work up a design and free quote. Seeing the piece and
talking to you about your tastes and needs will better enable
us to recommend colors, textures and designs. Through our visualization
service, you will see what the framed piece will be like.
How
do I make the art look fantastic?
Remember that the framing is to accent the art. If you match your
frame to the furniture but that color isn’t in the art,
it won’t quite look right. The larger the mat, the more
emphasis is on your art. If they are small, your eyes will see
the “target” effect. The mats should also pick up
colors in the art with a frame in keeping with the feel of the
art. Framed! will show you using a “picture visualization”
program that allows you to see what the piece will look like when
it’s done. We will give your art the WOW factor!
How
long does it take to get my framing back?
Normal scheduled turn-around is about one week. We like to exceed
your expectations and many times finish early. We can provide
one day turn-around under special circumstances if in stock materials
are selected.
Can
you match the frame I bought years ago?
Very often this can be done. It's not always going to be possible,
however. The moulding may have been discontinued by the manufacturer,
or the manufacturer may no longer be in business. Sometimes a
far better solution is to treat each picture individually instead
of matching all the frames in a grouping. Look for frames with
similar style rather than perfect matches. We can help you with
that.
Can
you just re-mat a picture? Can you repair broken glass? Can you
reuse my frame?
Yes, if you have a useable frame. We will gladly cut a new mat,
cut new glass, or other minor repairs.
Do
you repair frames?
We do basic repairs, such as fixing loose corners, some retouching
of minor dings and scratches, replacing broken glass or torn dust
seals.
Do
you guarantee your work?
Success at Framed! depends on your satisfaction. If anything misses
our rigorous inspection, we want to correct it! Please let us
know, so we can!
Do
you pack and ship framed art?
Yes! Pictures can be packed and shipped. Paula has had 10 years
of packing and shipping experience.
Do
you deliver?
Yes! Delivery can be arranged!
Do
you hang pictures?
Yes! We will now come to your home or business and hang to better
service you, our customers.
Do
you retouch or repair photos?
We partner with a reputable service for photo restoration. Bring
in your old photo and we will scan it, then call you with a quote
for the restoration.
